Instead, it&rsquo;s a special version of the 540i xDrive known as the Legacy Edition that will be available exclusively to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/canada\/\">Canadian<\/a> market. It&rsquo;s the first version of the current <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/01\/2024-bmw-520i-review-a-premium-sedan-that-doesnt-thrill-but-does-soothe\/\">5-Series<\/a> to be sold in Canada with six cylinders and without a plug-in hybrid system. Power is provided by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/bmw\/\">BMW&rsquo;s<\/a> 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six, punching out 375 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque that&rsquo;s assisted by a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. Working alongside an eight-speed automatic &lsquo;box, the sporty sedan can hit 100 km\/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds. The car pictured is painted in Maldives Black II Metallic, but several other colors will be available, including Oxford Green Metallic, Black Blue non-metallic, Cinabar Red, Grigio Telesto Pearl Package. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2024\/09\/bmw-x5-edition-25-jahre-is-a-canada-only-affair-with-a-nostalgic-spec-and-cool-features\/\">Customers can also<\/a> choose between red and blue M Sport brake calipers. Other standard features include an 18-speaker Bowers &amp; Wilkins surround sound system and ventilated front seats.<\/p>\n<p>BMW hasn&rsquo;t announced prices for the limited-edition model yet, but there&rsquo;s a good chance it&rsquo;ll start at over CA$100,000 (~$72,600).
